Even though it is Swiss made, the case is German, so that should count....

I believe you are correct. Caseback only indicates German, but I believe Mike has said Fricker made most of their cases.

I actually have a nearly 100% German watch today - a ZentRa from the early seventies with a Durowe (Int) Cal. 7525. Very nice - automatic, winds very easily, very rapid date change at midnight. I was once told, though, that the automatic winding system is by Adolf Schild. Info from Michael P. Horlbeck, author of the highly recommendable book "Der Armbandwecker - Geschichte einer vergessenen Komplikation" (The wrist alarm - History of a forgotten complication. Publ.: Heel Verlag).

Hartmut: Your ZentRa sounds very interesting! Would you mind posting a photo or two? I'd very much like to see it! Thanks! ;-)
Warren: That's a GREAT-looking watch! |>
I'm wearing my "Lufthansa Cargo" today! B-)

A little bit tricky since I am one of the old-fashioned people that still has only a foto camera (i.e. non-digital)! I will get someone to shoot a piccie or two in the near future so I can post it. Watch this forum.....
