Hey guys,
here's my latest strap (Breitling green croc), and I kinda like it with the Yellow SOP
-- though I didn't even buy it for that particular watch...
Now how do you like it?

Besides the unusual color combination, the idea of fitting a diver's watch with
a croc strap can seem weird... or strikingly enchanting? :-d

No! No! No! Was it a dare? Is someone paying you? Great watch but the green is not for me!

Cheers, mate. :-)

Hi Don,
In principle, these 2 colors works together.
But it slightly depends on the nuance of the yellow and green too. I have the feeling that green makes the yellow dial look a bit "cold". Everything is just an optic illusion.
Generally, the combination between 2 primary colors works well with the 3rd one (because we have only 3). We have primary colors: Red Green Blue.
* if you "combine" red+green it gives yellow (don't try with paint in this case, it's valid only if each color is the light source, not light-reflecting object - this principle used for TV's screens). Yellow works great with blue (see Eagle's CA, despite the fact I don't like the material of his strap ..).
* red+blue = purple, works well with green
* green+blue = turquoise works well with red
Finally, it depends on taste, above are "axioms".
The yellow of your SOP is a "warm" yellow. To keep that nice nuance, you may choose carefully the strap color - IMHO could be black, jeans-blue. More than that, dial (or case) and strap shall have a brightness contrast.
Up to you, anyway, just some considerations from my side :-)
Cheers,
Cristi

What you have there is the perfect colour combination for driving a lotus/caterham 7 in 'proper' lotus livery!:-!

I think it goes well but it's not my thing at all. I'm not a huge fan of yellow faced watches, even on the emergency.
having said that, the only opinion that counts is yours!!! :-!

Thanks for your votes everyone!
It's great to see that not everyone is thinking alike about that thing :-!

Looks so good I want to eat it, or buy it.
Truly outstanding colour combo - would never have thought of it, but it is a winner:gold
