how do you post a pic in the body of a post.

In the editor (where you enter the text for your post), click on the little yellow icon on the top that looks like a picture of a mountain with the sun. A popup window will open, just enter (or cut and paste) the url of your picture and voila, it will be inserted in the body of the text! :)

Cheers

That is one impressive Kobold. Even though they are all Kobolds, they all have a different look and a different feel to them. I especially like the Sir Ernest Shackleton edition. I have yet to see one of them in person.

A mighty fine collection! I've yet to see a Kobold "in the metal" but I seek out photographs at every opportunity. Please keep these pics coming!

PeteS,

That is what I hope my Kobold collection looks like very soon. I had the option of getting the P.S. earlier this month, but bought a Rolex GMT II instead. Now I am regretting not getting the P.S.

And if I see a great deal come around on a Seal, I will be snagging one of them up as well! Of course, I can't forget that I will be buying the SMG-1 upon it's release..

May I ask, which one do you find yourself wearing more, the Phantom or the P.S.?

Hi Warren,

I tend to wear the Phantom more often than the PS...not for any particular reason other than I'm used to the day/date feature. I've also used the countdown bezel on many occasions and find it a great feature.

I'll be doing some traveling in the near future and will be taking the PS along for the ride because of the GMT feature. Also, I have the Ti version which makes it really comfortable on the wrist.

BTW, the GMT II is a great watch...

Is that last pick of a nato/bund combo? That makes the watch look even more amazing than it does on the bracelet..

Could you tell me about that set up, as I would like to try it on my Phantom!!!

Hello Warren:

that's a 2-ring Zulu on a leather bund pad. The bund I got from a guy in germany, who made up a few and had them for sale on the MWR sales forum.

http://www.mwrforum.net/cgi-bin/px.pl

I've lost his name/email, but he advertises them now and then. BTW, the bund came with a matching 1-piece leather strap, but the strap is too thick (it's very nicely made) to fit between the strap bars and case of the SEAL. I couldn't get it to fit any of my watches. That's how I ended up with the zulu/bund combo.

best regards,

clay
