Quick Mini Review:

This is a non-hacking, japanese automatic movement. Setting it is a bit of a chore, and I dont have it down completely yet.

Fit and Finish: 3 out of 5 - Some of the edges are not smoothed enough. You could potentially cut yourself on the inside edges of the lugs. The ends of the bracelet do not fit completely flush with the edges of the inside of the lugs, so it becomes more noticeable. I do not see any of the well known problems with the dial, such as the Invicta logo being off center, or crooked. The other stuff on the dial face seem to be attached well also. The bezel is unidirectional, and has a nice tight turn ratchet of half second increments. On the minus side however, it has a bit of vertical play to it that I have not encountered before. If you apply a bit of downward pressure on one side, it moves and "clicks" noticeably. This is not really a big deal, but it is there.

Accuracy: not enough time on the wrist yet.

Bracelet: 3 out of 5 - I am not a big fan of metal bracelets. This one has the slightly older style, two part clasp, and its TOO tight. It takes more pressure than is comfortable on my fingernail to lift the first clasp! My bracelet on my Nautica is better than this one. I may eventually try to match it up with a leather or rubber strap, or maybe even go with a Watchadoo bracelet. The lugs would have to be smoothed a bit before that would work though, I would hate to inflict a grievous wound on myself or others from the edges on them!

Anyway, thats my 2 cents on this watch. 3 out of 5 is where I would grade it. I am going to keep it, as I think $116.98 is fair for a good beater watch, and I can always work on smoothing the rough edges myself if it becomes necessary.

Take care all!

Well after having it for several days I decided it just wasn't one I wanted to keep. I did a return and picked up a Seiko Auto 200M Diver. This watch fits my style better anyway, and is more comfortable, better built, and has MUCH better lume than the Invicta anyway.:gold

I know this is an old thread, but I love mine. Added bonus...it can be used as a weapon!
