I like that better Jon! Sometimes I do, if the shot fits. I usually shoot in colour then convert it if it looks right. Here's one I finished today. It was so so in colour, but I like it much better in b&w, although the jpeg seems to have come out a bit lighter than the photoshop or tiff.

Just like me then. I made a lot of B&W when shooting film, but now it's only a few. And Photoshoop has it's limitation on B&W without the channel mixer. But I do like B&W pictures a lot. Yours turned out very nice :-!
