Recently I observed some problems with my two restored frenchies. They stopped in certain positions for unknown reasons. I first believed that it could a problem with degradated shellac that seals the palet jewels, but it turned out that it was more complicated.

I had to inspect every stages of the wheel train to discover that the problem for the Reillac was the intermediate pignon on the dial side. It gripped around its main plate axe in certain positions even oiled. I finally replaced for a new one I had the fortune to have in the "Cupillard" 233 part boxes.

The running of my "Erosa" (caliber HS P62) has never been very satisfactory. The balance wheel slowed down if I shocked slighty the caliber flat. I have also a complete set of new parts for this P62, so I decided to inspect every pinions and staffs by comparison with new one. I discovered that the staff of the third wheel was damaged at the top (may be by me upon the remount ?). After remplacement for a new one, everything is OK.

I found also red leather band for this grand ma that really puzzled me!
