New Omega DeVille Co-Axial Ladies Chronometer (http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Omega-De-Ville-Co-Axial-Ladys-Chronometer-4581-31_W0QQitemZ220090450719QQcategoryZ31387QQssPageNa meZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)
My wife and I are looking for a nice timepiece for her mom and we think she'll really like this particular Omega. We've purchased many watches from eBay but nothing above a thousand dollars so we are a little hesitant about what could end up being the biggest purchase we've negotiated through the site.
However, from the Omega experts that are present on this board, what do you feel about the deal on this watch? Is it too good to be true? If it retails for over $4000, it appears the auction is likely to end around $2000. From a cursory glance, it does seem like too great of a deal! We're mostly worried about the authenticity of the piece, but the seller seems to have quite a stellar reputation.
Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! :-!

Nice watch and solid seller.
I bought my first Speedy Pro from Jungo (jmryshi) back when his feedback score was less than 100. I do not hesitate to recommend him.
He buys trade-ins from jewelry stores in Japan for resale. This one appears to be an "overstock" from an AD. Note that the warranty card is blank so that there is no Omega warranty. The card must be stamped to be warranted.

My initial read is that this is a legitimate seller...if you click on his last 5 feedbacks they are for high end Omega's...Ebay is pretty quick to quash anyone selling fakes...espec Rolex and Omega ...
Bear in mind hat the $4,000 price is the bricks and mortar store price for such things...usually with a 250% profit built in...
Reality based procing makes this a pretty reasonable price...
They are probably going to see $300-$400 profit on the deal...which is just fine if your "office' is virtual.
Imagine all the work and time it would take for them to amass all that feedback - and how unlikely it would be if they sold fakes...

I am curious to know how things worked out.
I have bid on a few Omegas from that seller and each time my "great deal" a few days before the end of the auction ended up selling, due to lots of bidding right in the last few hours of the action, for more than what I would pay for it (i.e., near what one can get every day from an established gray market seller, or even an AD who gives a healthy discount).

I agree with Kieron and jmsrolls reagarding the seller, jmryshi.
I bought my Ti Seamaster from him. When I received it (right on time) the bracelet was smaller that I expected. I wrote to him and he agreed (with apologies!) to refund me $53 toward the purchase of a link from Otto Frei.
I would do business with him any time!!

Thanks for the input everyone!
We actually didn't win the bid for that ladies Omega, so I don't have an experience to share regarding "jmryshi", but from what some of you have stated, he appears to be a good, legit seller which is great to know!
I entered my maximum bid and was the highest bidder before we went out for dinner, came back a little later than planned and found out someone else outbid us before the auction ended. Oh well...maybe another one will pop up in the near future. :-)

I have noticed the same thing, I think it is the"premium" most people will pay for a trusted seller, so the bid a little more
