Hi all, my first post here. I've just moved into analogue watches from digitals and jump hours and I really like the above watch - has anyone got any advice on it ie is it reliable and how much for a decent one?

Hello Campbell,

welcome here!
A picture would really help to give you an advice. I know that some funky Tressas from the 70s had some good, reliable AS movements in, but I don't know the watch you mentioned.
IIRC, normal Tressas go for typically 50 - 100 EUR in good condition, spacemans higher.

Cheers,

Axel

Would this do - it's not the actual watch but it's identical.

Hello Campbell,

yes that's a AS movement. They are very robust and rliable.
I would expect a sales price around 50 EUR on German ebay, but I don't know how they sell in the UK (though prices are not really predictable).
However, it is a very nice watch and I guess I have to keep my eyes open.;-)

Cheers,

Axel

Thanks Axel - I suspect this is the first of many mechanicals from the 60's and 70's............
