Anyone own an Arctos GMT?

The only thing I don't like too much is how the bezel "06" and "08" can easily look like "90" and "80"....should just dump the "0's"

No. Judging by the way the numbers are engraved (like an Explorer II...meant to be read only from one direction) I'd say no.

It's on the list of German manufacturers in the German Watches forum.

I really don't know much about Arctos ... a German watch can be anything from 50%+ made in Germany to just having a registered office in Germany.

The guys on the German Watches Forum will know more, I am sure. :-)

Hi Dennis,

I was one of the first (No. 21) to have an Arctos GMT. Although the price is around 1300€. The finishing of the watch is very good the case is very solid and the Euros are well spend. I might have the chance to sent you some pictures end of April, then my digicam is back.
The movement is the GMT of ETA the 2893/2. Well known!
I did not like the polished / satinated band, so they changed it for me to the band you see at the pictures of the Nato field watch (with "Doppelfaltschliesse"...sorry).

The watch is a heavy timepiece but good to wear....I like this brand a lot. :-p

If you contact them, they are keen on a good service, ever if they are a very small company. :-!
