Would love some information on this baby....caseback is near impossible to open!! Any and all help would be most appreciated.

Very nice - excellent condition watch! Looks like one of the earliest Zenith EPs to me, similar (but not quite the same - lugs are different, for one) to the Ref A385. The fact that it has a star on the dial - an early feature, dropped around the time Zenith was taken over by the Zenith Electronic Co. and only resurrected by LVMH - also points to its early date of manufacture.
Anyone else there with more info? I would appreciate it too.

on the back, perhaps you can email Zenith and ask if they can tell you how long the model was made? Won't be as good as sending the serial number, but it would give you some more info.
