This movement is in a new watch with 0 information on it. The watch is rather nice for the price in many ways but I'd like to know more about the movement prior to deciding to actually buy. Thanks.

This looks like a new movement to me. |> I never saw it before, But Chascomm may know better. It looks like a scaled up version of Diamond's lady watch movement. What is the brand name of the watch?

Thanks, No brand name as its from Watchesu571 on eBay. The description online reads:
"
W10 1970s British Combat issued watch with mechanical hand wounding movement. Solid 316L stainless steel case with satin finished, hardened plastic acrylic crystal with screw back cover, the watch is so solid, rugged and tough which designed in order to survive the most extreme of conditions, it has a traditional sweep second hand, cool black dial and luminous markings. Military ordinance markings are stamped on the back cover. It comes with a standard NATO webbing strap.
Watch dimensions are : Width is 35 mm excluding crown and 37 mm including crown, crystal diameter is 31 mm, Lug to lug is 46.5 mm, Thickness is 11 mm. "

Isn't this an ETA 2872 or a clone/licensed chinese version. If I remember well it was discussed here before.
