Need Ur Help- Fairy Charged or Ridiculous?

Need guys help, I just send for watch to Zenith SA to change the bezel disc and glass, LMVH just got back to me with the breakdown of the charges:

Bezel disc- US$155 (SGD250)

Glass- US$92 (SGD150) non-sapphire.

Polishing US$62 (SGD100)

Service charge- US$62 (SGD100)

I think it’s way too high cos 2 yrs ago I sent it to Zenith SA for repair and complete overhaul + change of glass for only US$420 (SGD676). Wats ur advise? Should I go ahead to get it done?

Looks about right to me - the service looks 'cheap', presumably just a lube job after a full service 2 yrs ago, whilst the bezel disc looks a bit steep.

Does it need a new glass though?

My jeweller told me yesterday of a chap who sent in a £100,000 Patek & paid £10,000 for a service/overhaul/parts etc.

The more expensive the watch, the more expensive parts/service.

it looks OK to me. Grant it, the bezel price looks steep, but you can't exactly find those bezels at a local store. But the polishing and service price are low considering what other companies charge, so I think you are doing OK overall. If the bezel is not too bad, you may want to wait for the next service?

Thanks, then i think i will just go ahead and get it all done to save shipping cost (US$62).
