Just a comment on this Watchuseek German Forum. As my collection has now shifted to specifically German watches, I find this forum to be the best source of information. I found that I really missed the forum when it was disabled. This has now become my chief source for information to learn about German brands that I was not previously familiar with. Glad it is back and running. Stephen

Ditto. :-D

This forum and its members have been very helpful and informative to me. They've also cost me a lot of money in new watches, but I've had great fun spending it! :-!

Beautiful U2, Stephen! :-p

I definately agree! This forum is without doubt, the best english language source of information on German made watches on the net. I don't just say that because I'm a WUS mod, but because I've looked elsewhere.

One German brand forum on another big name site is more into talking about the high end stuff that many of us can't afford. I love that we talk about the mid range here. I've learned alot here too, but I'm still a newbie to German brands. This forum has opened up a new world of watches to me and I'm grateful for that :-!

Cheers,
Bruce

Well must be alone in finding this forum a problem.

Could be because people keep posting more and more watches that I find attractive...:-!

I think that many of the German brands are great values in comparison to their swiss counterparts and that has resulted in an increased interest in this type of forum. What attracted me to the German watches aside from price is the high quality of the workmanship and the uniqueness of many of the brands. I continue to find many German watch companies that present fine wristwatches.

among the members here: I'm a relative newbie to german watches and find them fascinating and always ahead of the others in terms of innovation, design, technology...

Same here. Looked around, but this is the most informative, least pretentious source of information about German watchmaking.

Kudos to Mike Stuffler, Crusasder, and Wouter for keeping this forum a friendly and helpful place.
