This is my not too good attempt to show the differences in displays between the TAG Microtimer and the Ventura V-tec Delta. I think that the Ventura is sharper, but the Tag is brighter

Short of cropping the picture I did not Photoshop work on it.

Interesting shot, Ronald. The Ventura looks very dim. Is this just an artefact of how the watch is oriented relative to the flash, or is it indeed that much less visible than the Tag?

Some of it is orientation. I will have to try again, under different lighting conditions and orientation.

I am trying again. This seems to be better at getting the relative display brightness. It may not help that the TAG display is physically bigger. The only thing I did to the photo was crop it in Photoshop

Good pic, Ronald. I must say that I like the looks of the ventura overall better, but I like the display of the Tag better. Not just because it's brighter, but, rather, because it separates the time from the other numbers better.

That is my conclusion as well. Bruce. Make a Frankenwatch with the style of the Ventura, but display of the TAG(and add the TC).

At first look the Ventura just displays a lot of numbers for me...
The date in the form mmddyy is very much unreadable for me. Either yy-mm-dd or dd-mm-yy, but day between month and year does not make sense to me:-S
Why does the TAG display a leading zero for the hours?
I like the watches anyhow:-!
Have a nice day
Ad.

The TAG seems to use zeroes to fill the field. mm-dd-yy or (mm/dd/yy) seems normal to me, but perhaps it is a American format?

Yep. It's an American-ism.

Light numbers on dark display is very sensitive to orientation, especially when being photographed.

The display on the Ventura is dimmer, even if the numbers appears a little sharper than the TAG.
