Just wanted to introduce myself and post a few shots of my new Omega.

I had a SMPC a few years ago and loved it (not sure why I sold it), the new version showed up a couple of days ago. A few minor changes to the dial, I like applied markers so this is a plus for me.

Feels good to have this back on my wrist!

Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a great weekend and Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads.

Welcome to Omegaland, Dave. Congrats on replacing your SMPCh! It's a fantastic tank of a watch, powered by a solid, reliable movement.

Thanks for sharing. Stick around!

Congrats on one great Omega. I recently had the chance to try one on and was really impressed. It is a heavy and thick timepiece, but felt good on the wrist. I was concerned that it might not be comfortable to wear for an extended period of time though. Please let me know how it feels after you wear it for a while.

Thanks for the warm welcome and comments.

Very happy with the SMPC after 1 week of daily wear, I usually rotate through my collection weekly but since 2 of my watches are being repaired now the Omega has been my "go to" all week. And its doing a great job:-!

Besides being a great looking watch and super comfortable it is soooo nice to have a chronometer rated watch, running less than 1 second off per day!

Len,

This one is big and heavy but very well balanced and not top heavy at all. Most of my watches are larger diver style so I am used to wearing this size/weight watch. It is very comfortable, sits well on my 7 1/2 wrist and I have always been lucky with the Omega bracelets fitting me just right.

Hope everyone has a great weekend

Dave,
Thanks for your opinion on the comfort of your new watch. I am in the process of deciding what my next watch will be and you model is one that I am considering. Glad you are enjoying your new Omega. BTW, stellar pics.

Hello Dave,

That's beautiful.

I wonder how the movement on that would compare with a Speedy Automatic's.

Congrats and happy father's day to all!
