If this is NOT the correct place to ask this, perhaps someone could move it?

I have a very "special" Chronomat that I was planning to sell. However, I have changed my mind and will now wear the watch - but I want an OEM rubber strap on it.

1. What is the MSRP on a Breitling rubber strap these days if you buy it from a reputable dealer?
2. Can an original be purchased elsewhere? Price range?
3. What is the total length of an OEM strap? I have an 8-inch wrist!
4. It has to be an OEM strap - this watch is #11 of only 100 made and deserves nothing less. ;-)

TIA for any help you can give me - this seemed to be the best place to ask all of these questions at once. :thanks

The best bet is to buy the rubber strap from an AD. It will cost you $75 or $80 (I think they may have had a price increase). This includes tang buckle. They can be purchased on auction sites but usually for more than buying from the AD. I have a 6 1/2 wrist and have 2 rubber straps both of which I have drilled 1 extra hole in. So you should be fine with a regular OEM strap and it should fit you on the last hole perfectly.

I would say right around $100.00 (+-). That's what I've seen them go for online anyway. Sorry I can't be of anymore help.

Edit: Todd beat me to it..and with better info :-d

Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it. I don't want to buy a strap if it is much too short! (FWIW, I just paid C$340. for an XL 'gator strap for a Reverso so $100. for a Breitling rubber strap sounds fair! :-d )
