I really like the features of the T series Sunntos for fitness training. Was wondering if anyone could provide input on their durability. I'm pretty tough on my workout watches and desire something that can take a ding or two in the weight room and shocks from climbing and mountain biking.

Thanks in advance,

Gene

Well Im the opposite I guess... Im pretty easy on watches. Im a cyclist, so i dont get many scrapes LOL... (knock on wood). I would say the T3 feels a little more delicate than even a Vector. But that could be the weight. This watch is a fitness watch, so its light, has a low profile, and is aimed for runners and cyclists. I wear mine a good bit and it hasnt suffered any major dings at all. But also, mine does spend a lot of its time on the handle bars. One thing to consider, the crystal is acyrilic. That means it will scratch pretty easily. The good news is that it can be polished and buffed in a matter of seconds with some brasso and a soft cloth. Before you dismiss the crystal keep in mind that many of the best "classic" military watches have acrylic crystals!

I love mine and its extremely accrate and comfie...

I've had the T3 with the negative face and the shiny clasp strap since xmas. It has some minor scratching to the face, but nothing too bad at all.

The features, fitness wise are good, but for someone who's used to three hands on a watch, it's complicated.

Also, don't get the clasp strap. I find it pops open at odd times when I bend my wrist back.

Overall, it's a very attractive watch...

You know those scratches on the face can be buffed right out with some Brasso or polywatch! :)
