I have a 6.25" wrist, and I seem to be having trouble finding good quality aviator/flieger (preferably open-ended, but I'll consider other options) watch straps in lengths short enough for my wrists. I recently purchased a very nice quality strap from a U.K. seller on eBay which would require two or three additional holes, and because of the thickness and stiffness of the strap, would become very uncomfortable to wear even with the extra holes. I also just received a Stowa Airman, and the included band is far, far too long for my wrist, and the buckle-side of the strap is so long that is would make it awkward to wear even if I punched extra holes. I have looked at some Jurgens straps, but hesitate to spend the money and end up with another strap that I cannot wear. Someone recommended TimeFactors, and they seem to have some nice-looking aviator straps, but from the pics they appear as though they may be too long as well, and again, I hesitate to spend more money on something I cannot use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jurgen will make shorter length straps for an extra charge.
I bought 4 aviator straps from him in different sizes and colors to fit my 6.5 in. wrist.
He was a pleasure to deal with.

www.thewatchprince.com (http://www.thewatchprince.com) has number of short length aviator style straps in various widths.

Also, check out www.banda.com (http://www.banda.com) . They have a good selection of reasonably priced made to order straps.

The Di-Modell Chronissimo 20mm is offered in a shorter length, use to wear it on a Sinn and it looked great!

Finding that DiModell in the shorter length isn't easy, I've been wanting one for a while :-(

I'd recommend Jurgen and getting a shorter length made up. The Timefactors straps are nice, but they'll be too long for you (my wrist is about 6.75" and they're almost too long for me). Jurgen's straps, particularly the tropical aviator, are well worth the money!
