Hi all,

A couple of days ago i went to a local watch store and handled an Omega for the first time ever (well apart from my Grandpas old Seamaster)

Anyway it was a Broad Arrow with the black dial, a watch that has always caught my eye ever since becoming interested in mecahnicals, infact i think it was the watch that turned me on to mechanicals altogether! As you can see my name is Casioric as i am mainly a collector of vintage digitals from the mid 70's although i have recently onwned a few Sinns a Doxa a number of Seiko automatics...

So anyway as i was saying i got my hands on the Broad arrow and i absolutely love it, problem is it felt a bit large on my 6.5" wrist

I was thinking of trying it (if i was to purchase it) with other straps, perhaps leather, Nato, Omega mesh etc

Does anyone have any pics of this watch on alternative straps?

Cheers! Ric

PS - What is the lug width of this watch?

Slightly related to the topic,

When was the first Speedmaster Broad Arrows made? Or When Omega first used Broad Arrow hands for the first time?

I thought first that BA hands did not look so good on Speedmasters, probably I was too used to traditional Speedy hands and all other hands seemed bit odd. Nowadays I think BAs actually look nice and are quite clear. I believe arrow hands are more a custom in military watch world.
