Thosw those who own these watches, I want to know what you think of the scroll and its functionality. I would prefer to give my view after I see some responses.

Its been several months, and no reply... yet.

Go ahead, give your view of this functionality, please.
I am also very interested in this watch and am curious as to its functionality.
Thanks.

Perhaps I am the only one who owns one and posts here periodically.

I have a Ventura Delta and, though I don't wear it very often, I think the scrolling feature works astonishingly well. When I got it and wore it every day, it took only a couple of days before I was perfectly comfortable making any changes I wanted to. I was actually very surprised at how well it worked because, to begin with, when I tried to figure things out with the book in one hand and the watch in the other, I was not optimistic!

I bought the Delta because I originally wanted a Sigma and they weren't available yet and I thought the Delta could be a bridge! I'm an accuracy freak and I thought the complete lack of moving parts would allow exceptional accuracy. In practice, I have found that the Delta's timekeeping was not as tight as I wanted, so it has been sleeping for a while. In fact I think I'm going to sell it.

I also bought a Junghans Mega 1000 digital, which has all the same functions, but is radio controlled and therefore ridiculously accurate. Its functions are controlled by a forest of buttons and, though they are easily understood, they aren't nearly as satisfying as the Ventura's single control.

I apologise for not answering your question earlier. For some reason, I didn't see it. I hope this is helpful.

I'd be interested to hear whether you have one, bought one, are still considering, etc!

Yeah, but...
Tell me what you think of the V-tec.
Nobody has responded of late, so you certainly cannot ruin someone else's opinion, I'm sure. Tell us/me what you think of the scroll and its functionality.
Thanks.

Can you post a picture of your Delta?

Also, ronalddheld - could you post picture of your Ventura?
Thanks

I'm far from sure that I am equal to the task of putting a photo in here, but I'm going to give it a try:

That seems to have worked!

There is a recent picture of my Delta and Mega in the post about something Bruce would like.
I did ask for Ventura to adjust the watch for accuracy. I will check it starting next month, but not being a TC watch, I do not expect too much.
The scroll is a good feature in looks, but I do not think fast versus slow scrolling works well. Three or four pushers(one for the backlight) are best for a digital watch.
