Hi there,
I recently found this website and really like the design. www.lindburgh-benson.com (http://www.lindburgh-benson.com). But I don´t know anything about this company and serious information seems to be very rare on the net. Does anyone of you actually own one of those divers-watches?
Have a nice day

Lindburgh & Benson or Schaumburg watches are located at Rinteln.

If you really like their diver´s design go for one and post a review here on WUS ;-)
You may check "Nauticfish" on ebay, seller "swissora" is located at Rinteln too:

Been discussed quite a bit before the forum went down.

Hi Anders,
thanx for the pics, the watch looks great!
I was just asking, because I noticed a discussion in another forum at ebay.de about those watches. Nobody seemed to be sure wether they should be trusted since there were hardly any retailers. Someone claimed that they are actually produced in China and the official prices (beginning at EUR 790) are ridiculous. Maybe Lindburgh is represented at the Hanseboot 2006 (they seem to be in Düsseldorf this year) and I get a chance of seeing (and feeling) one.
But thanx so far anyway!
Bye for now

I really like the look of this diver, especially the blue dial version! |>

It has been reassured by L&B many times that their watches are made in Germany.
Think of it this way. How many times have you seen a refinished ETA2824-2 movement in a Chinese watch?
And of course, if the cases are made in China, I bet the same case will appear in many other Ebay brands. Nauticfish is OEM by L&B.
I am sure many owners cant be wrong about the quality of the watch.
You have got to handle it personally to know what is watch is all about.
Cheers

Is D-28866 Posthausen far from your home town ? There´s a dealer of L&B.
Maybe you know the watchbizz.de-forum ? There you`ll find a "report" written by Mr. T. from Minden who visited L&B. Some interesting stuff to read and mixed feelings of some posters regarding their COSC rated diver´s. (But you have to register :-( ).

Hi Anders,
Would you say the Nauticfish is comparable to the L&B?
Just curious cause I might pick-up a Nauticfish 1000.
Thanks for any replies.

Ive never seen the NauticFish before. But since they are made by L&B as well, ill rekon it should be of similar high quality.
Though I think NauticFish is no longer available?

There are always some offers on eBay.de (currently 2).

Thanks for the replies.
Ya, there's one on the bay that I'm interested in.
Are they no longer being manufactured?
That doesn't really matter to me much,
the ETA 2824-2 is everywhere so it should be no problem to keep it running.

Thanks Steve.
I'm also in the running for an Orange Monster,
this would give me 3 very different looking divers.

Those are remarkably tall off the wrist...17 something mm?
A Marathon for instance is 13 I think.
The Schaumburg/nauticfishes I mean.

BOUGHT ONE 2 MONTHS AGO IN DUSSELDORF
Very happy with the watch - I looked for it for over 4months - finally get a hold of the original one. For that price - It's awesome. I dealt with LB directly. Very nice people to deal with. My jeweler was drooling all over it. Couldn't believe ithe watch sold under 1grand.

I think their designs are really innovative. Like many of us, I was cautious about the quality. I assumed they were a "mushroom brand," as Mike says. It would be great if we could get a first-person review from a member of this forum. Herr Stuffler? :-)
