Dear folks,

I recently bought this beautiful watch and I am very proud on it. I know it was made in 1983 in bicolor, stainless steel and double. This is the double watch.

Perhaps there is someone out there who can tell me more of the history an specifications of this watch?

thanks,

:-!

Wesley

I also have a Navitimer 2400. It actually belongs to a friend. I was going to sell it for him on eBay, in a non-working condition. Breitling discontinued inventory on the parts, so it could not be repaired. I recently got lucky and found someone in the Netherlands who had a movement. I purchased one and the watch is now working. The band and case appear similar to yours, but there are many differences. It has a smaller watch on the band; it has the letters GMT inscribed on the band; the outer ring around the face is much more plain, being black with only one set of gold numerals. Now, why the heck am I boring you with all this? I only just joined the site tonight, in an attempt to find out more about the watch. I searched Google and found nothing. My friend is trying to decide whether he wants to keep it let me proceed with an eBay auction. Might you have any ideas how I might go about learning more about this timepiece? Thanks for listening.
