Was really doubting between this one and the black one.
The black felt a little cheap, and this was in nicer IRL, than on the pictures.
Enough said, let the pictures do the talking.

Can somebody tell me if the crown and pushers are also tegimented on the series II.
I have got faint scratches on the pusher already, after using the chrono just a couple of days.

i am not sure, but i mean that the crown is not tegimented,
but possible that sinn has changed it in the meantime.

Hi new 756.
Nice catch.
I understand, from surfing where there is little info and from Watchbuys, that the crown is not tegimented nor is the caseback. The caseback is not due to the lack of nickel in it which somehow precludes tegimention.
A new word perhaps. :-)
If the pusher is scratched then is it a result of the steel being beadblasted after tegimentation or is the steel beadblasted and then tegimented? I would think that it would be susceptible to scratches if the watch is bead blasted after tegimentation.

I dont think the pushers are tegimented at all. I could scratch them with a small needle. While the tegiment doesnt show anything.

I'm not ready to scratch mine yet! I re-read the Sinn caltalog and only see reference to the "case" being tegimented. It doesn't confirm nor deny whether the pushers are tegimented or not. :-S Perhaps an email to Sinn will answer the question.

Like Andreas (UVox) I have something sticking in the back of my head saying that Sinn extended the tegiment to some of the small parts lately, though I am not 100% sure which ones.
That is one of the big differences between ice-hardening (Damasko) and tegiment (Sinn), by the way: the ice-hardening is done to all parts, including crown, crwon-mechanism, pushers, caseback, whereas the tegiment does not cover the entire watch. Different philosophies there.

Here is the reply to my email question from Sinn:
"The case, pushers and crown of model 756 S UTC are tegimented."
Fast response from Sinn. :-!
So, the question that remains, is if this the case for the non-swartz version and non-UTC version - I would assume so.

And the latest fast email response from Sinn indicates this is the case for all the latest 756 models, including the bracelet and clasp. There you have it. :-!

Mmm, mine is four days old and had to be ordered by Sinn
Sinn told me that i could were the watch for 3 months, and then send it back.
They would put 2 new tegimented pushers on it for free.
Even the shipping is paid by Sinn.

Good to hear they'll fix the watch up for you Tom. Hope it won't be away for too long. Enjoy it in the meantime!
