Anybody know of manufacturers of replacement dials - - off the shelf? I've come across some nice vintage pieces that were really nice, except for a very deteriorated dial. :-S

I've seen them for some pocket watches where the dials are porcelain. However the general thing to do with badly worn metal dials is to repaint them. There are lots of redial services out there if you look for them.
The other approach is to look for a parts only duplicate on eBay with a decent dial.
Sometimes you just suck it up and realize that a 60 year old watch won't look new anyway.
