Anyone got one? And, if so, could you post some pics and give me your thoughts on the watch?

Thanks
Michael

Funny thing about the Moon Glow. Ball isn't allowed to import them into Canada yet. Soon maybe, but not yet. Too much tritium I guess. Now I'm forced to go to the US and bring one back (wink, wink)

I don't own one, but if I had to have a Ball wristwatch, the Moon Glow would be my choice.

I've got one! And it's on my wrist at the moment.

It's using the 2824 movement, and mine is performing at roughly +3 seconds per day.

It's a fantastic watch for travel because it can serve as either a casual watch or a dress watch. Plus, the illuminated date comes in handy when crossing the the time zones!

Did you have any specific questions that I can answer?

Cheers,
Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

Would you happen to have any pics of the Moon Glow, that you could share with us? I've scoured the internet, and have found mostly artist illustrations of this beautiful watch. What I'd really love to see are some great high res images of the Moon Glow, including close-ups of that wonderful dial and tritium powered date. Any help that you could offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, in advance! :-!

Jeremy - I have two questions on the Moonglow. Is the case polished or brushed and is there a pattern on the dials or are they smooth? Thanks.

kenage--I can tell you from experience that your best chances for a reply are to directly PM or email Ball. Better yet, call Ball USA. My questions got immediate answers. Just wanted to suggest that.

They have the white faced one in the window near my work. The case is shiny and polished (very nice looking) and the face is smooth. Truthfully I wanted the white dial one when I was looking at the websites but found that it looked a tad feminine for my tastes. The black dial, on the other hand, looks like it'll be a total winner. Now the choice is a strap or bracelet since they both look nice. As others have pointed out it's normally best to buy the bracelet and get the strap another time.

Thanks for the nice reply nathantw666. I do not think I will be able to see both at my local AD so I might just have to base my pick on web pictures and such. I heard the blue dialed version is no longer made so I might drop by my local AD and see if they have one in stock.

Hi Kenage,

Just a FYI...

Topper Jewelers (http://topperjewelers.com/d/brands/ball/NM1020C_S2_BE) a Ball AD in California shows the Blue Moon Glow in stock in case you are interested in checking it out.

The moon glow is indeed availble at Toppers.

And at many others. It has only been available in the USA for a few months due to the "over 25 MC" rating.

Good luck!

Thanks BrianS for the info. I did not know that Toppers was located in California. I guess I should have looked better. My local AD is about 5 min. away. It would take me around 3 hours to get to Toppers.
