Not usually one for chrono's, but must admit, i'd make an exception for this one.
Thats one good looking chrono!

Very nice photos of a very nice looking timepiece! I'm guessing you don't use an ordinary digital camera to take those(?) Wish I could get photos of my watches that were 1/2 that nice. :-s

Actually it's a simple HP 817R, nothing fancy. Put it on Super Macro, turn off the flash, use a tripod or lie on table and use the timer. Also, take pictures in low light or outside. In the case of the low light, it forces the camera to use extra long exposure. As for outside, natural light is always best.

Hi Mark,
It is 43mm in diameter and it is the Fireman Ionosphere. Same as the ones you have seen before, just a different dial color combo.
I LOVE IT!!!

I almost bought the black dialed version, and waffled too long and missed it! :-x
Very nice!
BTW, the macro ability of todays new cameras is incredible. I took the Alligator shots (see scan day post) with a Sony T-100 ultra compact digital. Shoots better macro than my Sony DSC-F828 professional and has better low light capabilities.

Beautiful watch and photos.
I especially like that second lume shot. As much as I like my Canon S1 IS, I don't think I can take a shot like yours without too much ISO noise.

Marc,
You've inspired me to read the instructions to my camera. This was my first attempt. I'm going to start honing this skill tonight. The black dial makes it difficult to get the exposure right.
F2.7, ISO 80, 10sec.

We have two combos for the white dial Ionosphere. The first (WHBE) is the white dial with silver subdials. The second (WH1BE), which you have, is a white dial with charcoal subdials. If I had to choose, I don't know which I'd go for. :)
