Do the numbers on the bezel have the T3 illumination? Or is it just the hands & numbers on the dial that light up?

Thanks,
Ron

Hi Ron,

I believe that, with all of the Hydrocarbon models, the bezel numbers and markers are done in Luminova, while the hands, numbers, and hour indices on the dial have tritium tubes.

Correct. So the bezel needs charging while the face of the watch does not.

The bezel has a one piece rubber-like insert that glows underneath the bezel insert. While it does glow, it is weak in comparison to most other illumination on high end watches. You really have to charge the bezel well to see it at night, and even then it doesn't last long. The 12:00 pip is usually a tritium tube, except on the GMT.
