Two new models just to the doorstep and under the camera.
I thought everyone would like a look.
I will be wearing the automatic on grey ZULU.

They're kind of mixing the design elements of the regular Flieger with the B42 there aren't they?
Big day getting two at once....:-)

Hello Martin,
GREAT looking watches---I really like the changes they've made with the straps and the symmetrical day/date.
Its hard not to like a B-42---at least IMHO! :-!
I'll look forward to seeing a shot on the Zulu!
Enjoy!

Some of these B-42s look really nice, especially the white ones but the lugs are too long in my opinion. Also Fortis seem to be concentrating only on this range which means soon all their watches will be too big for a lot of people!
I think Fortis need to start introducing new models in 38-39mm versions.

Are these the NEW new with non-screwdown crown? If so keep us informed if you have any water intrusion issues. Supposedly they have that well in hand, so I don't think you will have any issues. I like the brown strap. I have the PVD Pilot and for a change i may try a dark brown strap.
Thanks for sharing

I don't see this new incarnation of the B42 Fleiger on the Fortis web site yet? Where are they sold? What's the diameter?

Hello
The diameter is equal to other B-42 editions (without the rotating bezel) which is 42 mm.

Nice pic!!
The hour number is luminous as well and this is better than the previous version Fortis B-42 Fleiger that I have.
I always like the pilot watch of Fortis. Tried to put my Fortis B-42 next to Mark XVI of IWC and Fortis really stands out. And it only costs a fraction of IWC, really value for money.
