getting the Omega 2007 catalog. I requested one last week from the Omega website. It arrived today. I wonder why others can't get one?

One week? Wow, that's really fast service, Bob. I think some people were trying to order catalogs over the summer when the Swiss were on "holiday". I ordered mine at the beginning of the year, before they had even been printed. Our favorite customer service rep, Ms. Mastrodonato, sent me one as soon as they were available.

I guess you got peoples........important peoples.
4 requests via internet and phone call to local AD.
Well, I knew the phone call to the local AD wouldn't work because
they threw me out a few months ago. It finally came via
Boston and MatthewJ. In perfect condition.
Thanks agian Matthew!
As much money as I've spent on Omegas you would
think they would hand deliver.
Oh well....................

Jim, you can't bully the AD's customers (particularly those who "look" rich, regardless of what's in their wallets) and expect a catalog, can you? Now quiet down before you scare away the money!:-d

Actually, John, the postmark was New Jersey. Maybe they have them there now, and are more readily available?

Makes sense, Bob. Since I ordered mine so early in the year and went directly through Maria in Bienne, that's where it came from.

Funny this topic shows up today, as mine showed up in today's mail!

I requested it about 2 weeks ago. Came from NJ. Has letter enclosed with a referral to an AD in Beverly Hills.

I don't know what the big deal was either Bob. One internet request and a week later ... Bingo. I gueaa the 411 must have been put out on Jimmoose and Omega blackballed him. :-) - DAvid

Yes, the only problem is that the wife found it, and now is picking out watches she'd' like...
Those Omega folks are smart.

Hey David....it was a ROLEX dealer. They just happend to carry Omega too.
That kind of stuff always happends at ROLEX dealers. They like the homeboys
to wear suits, ties and eyetalian loafers. I was actually looking for the rare and minty, elusive and important King Midas. Well....I didnt find one, but I did run into a Bigshot with a sore foot.

Well Jim, they (Omega) has your number and you are one of the slaves to the brand. So, they (Omega) does not need to feed you extra carrots to get you to come on down!

I've placed two orders over the past two months as well. Nothing in the mail and no news whatsoever. Also placed a request for the Longines Catalog...same story...no news, and no catalog. Think they're slacking cause they know they (mostly) get away with taking people for granted. I'm beginning to start questioning my next Omega purchase (or Longines for that matter).

Three months ago, a friend and his family, from Texas came over to visit. I took them to Rodeo Drive, in Beverly Hills, sightseeing. My friend and I went to an Omega Boutique, on Rodeo Drive to check out the watches available. And, there were a lot of 2007 Omega Catalogs for the taking. :-) Sales people from that store were wearing white cotton gloves in handling Omega watches. Cool, isn't it? :-!

I mentioned the "D" word (discount) to one of the sales people out of curiosity to get a response. It was an immediate shaking of the head, if you know what I mean.

Cheers.
