Went to buy a Millemetre today and got seduced by a Militare Automatico first edition with the display caseback. It's got that OX-PRO finish and am a little concerned as this would be a daily watch for me and don't want worry about getting the watch beat up and scratched. How durable and robust have you all found this process to be? What a great looking watch though with the white dial and dark case...
Also it has the Dinex/Lorica strap. What is that like wearing on the wrist and even after exposure to salt water. I'm an avid offshore fisherman so exposure to the elements will come with the territory and even some limited diving.
Any help is appreciated!:thanks

Ox Pro is great, i have had the militare 2010 for about 1 and a half years and no scratches at all. Dinex is also great, the strap is very durable, a bit rough on the outside and it catches lint from sweatshirts, but the inside is leather is it is comfortable. I also have a Kodiak strap and it appears better but the Dinex is actually a better strap overall.
If you are interested i would like to sell my 2010 or trade for a 2007 (the militare with stainless finish). Let me know, i have pics and the watch is in like new condition with all boxes, papers and recipts.
