Hi all, what is the significance and effect of the various overnight resting positions for Omegas. I have a Co-Axial PO that seems to consistently gain 2 seconds a day. I have an older Speedmaster Pro (3570) that gains about 12 seconds a day.

What overnight resting positions are (usually) slower versus faster? I understand that face up is faster (or so it appears on my PO). For the PO, it stays at +2-3 seconds crown up. For the speedmaster, I cannot tell what is best.

Ideally, I'd like to find a "slower" position for the Speedy.

Thanks.

Every watch is different. I'm afraid you'll have to experiment to see what works.

Regardless, you must not leave the watch crown down. Why? No reason, I just think it's wrong.
