After many months of contemplation I have finally ordered a new watch. I opted for the Jaeger le Coultre Reverso Grande Date as an alternative dress watch to my Evolution. I still and will always know Breitling to be a fantastic luxury watch and will always be proud of my evo.

So please dont hate me for this decision... :-(

I should receive the watch within a fortnight so pics will be on its way... ;-)

Cheers all.

Did you have to use the parts for your other watches, or was it simply broken up and sold to make way for new acquisitions? ;-)

Actually it was one of my two JLCs... the other one, Jaeger le Coultre Reverso Grande Date, was in the shop all the time getting fixed for one thing or another... so meanwhile I was using the Compressor :-D :-D

Ernest Shiender recently found out that he had three sons he never knew of, so
due to the fact they were all coming upto there 18th he decided to ask each one
what they wanted for a pressie, no expence spared.

the 1st son replies " well i would like a nice house" so his ernest bought him a
7 bed mansion and filled the rooms with breitling wall clocks.

the 2nd son replied "well i would like a nice car" easy thought ernest and he
bought three bently 6.75 motors with watchs as well.

well the 3rd son was a bit thick and he replied "i always wanted a cowboy
outfit" so ernest rubbed his hands at this and after one hour in his private
study he ran back to the son and presented him with a fax. the lad asked "whats
this" Ernest repied " you wanted a cowboy outfit and i just bought you ROLEX"
..

Cheers for the post! Their going to start invading our forum now! :-X

Your JLC is exquisite/beautiful/fantastic... words fail me! But you don't need me to tell you just how very nice it is - you have forked out a lot of money for this wonderful watch and must have thought about it very carefully.

In no way is it somehow "anti-Breitling" to buy a watch like this - Breitling make nothing like it, either horologically or aesthetically.

Congratulations on a great choice,

Nice watch tompw! Congrats! :-!

I'm still in love with my seven navitimers too,
but I'm momentarilly infatuated beyond belief with my newest acquisition,
a Zenith Rainbow Flyback with the famous ElPrimero movement. It's been
accurated to 1 sec/day since I got it 3 weeks ago!:-):-):-)

cheers,
Bill

Cheers guys. It is nice to be able to alternate watches from time to time. I do find its twin-barrelled 8 day power reserve to give it a +2 second accuracy. Still not perfect. :-(
