it's for telling the time
sorry Ed, I don't know the real answer but I couldn't resist that one, Rik.
I'm sure a grown up will be along in a bit with a sensible answer!

It's like buying a car...you register it in your name to show ownership...it also allows Breitling to send you a nice gift....

I am sure that it can go to verify ownership and if lost (and returned) they can track you down. I heard a story about a Rolex Sub that was lost and later found while scuba diving. They contacted Rolex, they repaired it and found the rightful owner and returned it to him. Returning a found Rolex is the definition of character...

Unless you live in the UK. then you dont have to register oooops let me rephrase that " WE DONT GET ASKED" unless you buy an emergency or mission, then its a must, but WE UK's dont get a freebie unless you get one direct from the AD.o|

Relax Lou,
Here in the Netherlands, we are in the same boat. It's only in the USA that they get the goodies from BUSA :-(
Kind regards,

Yes i know, us Uk'ers dont get much, but all i ask is if we spend what we spend on the B's that we love then at least get them registered at the time of purchase to help out not only with warrenty details but more importantly if they get stolen.
I mean my daughters own several "build a bears" and one was lost in town, someone found it, handed it in to the shop and i got a call within 30 mins to say they had it.
Thats my rant over with now off to polish the B's before me holiday..
