I have not read anything here about Sector watches. They are Swiss made and seem to have respectable credentials. I am looking at buying one as a gift for a "non-watch person." It is a SS diver, uni-directional bezel, sapphire crystal with a quartz movement and the price is right. The model # is Sector 2653450045. Does anyone know anything about the brand or this particular watch?
I'll try to add a link but I'm not overlly optimistic.

Sector makes some nice quality watches. A few mwmbers own them and bought through Overstock. I would say grab it.

I do plan on purchasing one this year also. One of there new 850 series automatics with the steel and rubber bracelet:-!

I owned a Sector back in the 80's when as far as I know they were all Swiss made. I dont think they are all Swiss made now though, they used to be a lot more expensive than now. Judging by the ones that I have seen on line it looks like some are Swiss made and some are not going by the prices I have seen.

Someone correct me if I am wrong as I have been thinking about getting another Sector as I no longer have the old one (traded it and a Brietling in on a Rolex Submariner which I no longer have either).:-S
