I'm a watch fiend. Watch magazines? Buy 'em. Watch sale sites? Browse 'em. Bulletin boards? Read 'em.
I have a list of stuff I want, a 'short list' and a ton of watch advertising.
Today, I went to Torneau in OC, and looked around. Nice Blancpain. Like the IWC Aquatimer 2000. Loved the look of the GO's.
Then I tried on a PAM112. I have always wanted to, just to ge a feel for it - but always assumed that my small 7.5" wrists couldn't pull it off.
WROONG! The PAMs fit like a charm, and are striking in their simplicity. Not too big at all.
Couldn't look around any more after that. I'm ruined. I'm fiending for Base. Gotta have one...

i feel for you man. my wrist is even smaller at 6.5 but to the urging of others here in this forum, i tried the 44mm and i have to say they might be right. have to try it again just to make sure but definitely, whether it be 40mm or 44mm, my next watch will be a panerai. good luck. mko.

I've had my PAM 164 for a little over two months and am already considering a PAM 171. Now that's bad...

James is so spot on!! I did force the YM on the wrist today, and actually enjoyed it, but when I got home after lunch, the 210 went right back on the wrist.
There is something about these watches that reall click if you like to be "different" from the norm. Then you through the community of owners in the mix and no other brand can compete. :-!:-!

Same here... tried a PAM104 and loved it! Then the search began... trying on more and more and finally bought a used PAM001 since to me that's the most beautiful in it's simplicity :)
Now i am crazy about the black seal (PAM183) and maybe a PAM088 automatic... it's only my bank account that doesn't agree :(
