Check out the link below guys, this seller should really know better, using a seller who sells watches and has good feedback should make life safer. EXCEPT IN THIS CASE.

I used to own one of these and it just does not look right, i am sure its fake. What do you think?

WHY IS IT POLISHED ?
THE BEZEL IS WRONG.
THE MARKERS AND HANDS LOOK WRONG.
ETCC. ETC...

However its damn good for the uninitiated ! A reputable seller too !

ETC., ETC...The "BREITLING" in block capital letters is too small a font. I once bought a fake 7 segment per link Navitimer bracelet just like this and the end links would NOT fit properly on my Nav/Cosmo's. The script and squared B are also not sized properly. The end link attached to the "micro adjustment" springbar is wrong also. Pics make it look solid when a real one has three small circular segments between four angled segments.
The date aperture on the real "Fighters" cuts into the minute and second ticks on the dial. Not on this fake. Look at the description engraved underneath the BF-109. Hilarious. The "mitt" in Messerschmitt became "14177" and "BF-109" became "61109". The case interhorns are far too short and have a four sided cross section vice the correct 5 sided cross section. Really, the polished finish should be the only necessary clue to stay away from this watch. I have to leave in just a minute for a golf game or I would personally email the seller with a cut and paste of this post. Swiss, you're welcome to do so with the text of this if you like. Perhaps this "trusted" seller is simply naive and thinks he acquired a real one. Probably wouldn't be the first time that watch has fooled someone. O| Cheers,
Ron

I took a long hard look at it and what jumps out to me is the lack of S/N's on the bracelet and the BF109 "rearangement". Its hard to find a picture of the case back to compair, but I did see one on Chronomaster.uk and even though it was difficult to make out, it definately looks much different than the one on Ebay. From what I could compare, the bezel looks right and so does the face along with the name printed on the face. The fighters version looks to be printed more as a block lettering than the other versions.
This is a hard one in my opinion. Not all matches up, but if this one is a fake then its the best I have ever seen yet.

The bracelet is the dead give away for me. The BREITLING on the clasp should encompass a much larger part of the clasp. It is always a sign when this is written in very small lettering.
