i have noticed an increase in this type of band for sale on ebay, any comments on authenticity?
I notice the word veritable on the strap does not have the letter t crossed and the i is missing the dot, also the buckle is wider on the end where the strap threads through, on an original it parallel
They are selling like hotcakes on ebay USA, i am pretty sure they are fake, some originate from sellers in the far east but this does not deter prices from 100$-200$

if these are the croco straps they're fake

the croco straps should say 'Croco' on the inside.. these say 'Cuir' (Leather) on the inside

They're d*mn good fakes tho !!

Hi, there should also be three letters and a number printed on the inside of one of the straps, 7...p or 4...x

Do you know what this one says and do you have a picture of the outside?

A close up of the top side of the deployment clasp would also be helpful.

Is this a strap you have purchased or photos from an ad?

Cheers.

The leather band is 100% fake. It doesn't have the right markings. This makes the authenticity of the deployant buckle that is attatched to it highly questionable. I would stay far away from this one, even though the deployant buckle appears to be a pretty good fake...

The straps look suspicious to me, but I think the deployant is definitely fake.

are the two metal bands around that go around the strap supposed to be straight rather than terminate in a T-shape? At least mine are straight.
