OMEGA, the Official Timekeeper of the London 2012 Olympic Games, recently unveiled plans for an exclusive club for members and invited guests from July 28th through to the closing ceremony on August 12th.
OMEGA House, a stunning Georgian townhouse in the historic heart of Soho will provide a central home for OMEGA’s invited guests and will welcome a who’s who of Londoners and visitors to the Games. Designed to create an environment for business meetings, catching up with friends, or simply taking time to watch the Games on the big screen in the Olympic Garden, the House will offer its guests a luxurious retreat from the hustle and bustle of streets and venues in the Olympic host city.
The design of the House has been created to mirror the many lifestyle aspects and important collections that OMEGA has to offer. For example, the Ladymatic Lounge, named for the brandís stylish mechanical watch for women, is subtly decorated in elegantly classic tones. The Hour Vision Atelier honors the brandís Hour Vision line and is furnished in a way that recalls the exclusive clubs that have been part of Londonís elite social life for decades. The space-themed Speedmaster Bar, named after the first watch to be worn on the Moon, is a reminder of OMEGAís nearly half-century relationship with NASA. The Olympic Garden features a large screen television for avid Olympic fans, and a chance for guests to relax at the end of the day on comfortable outdoor furniture whilst listening to the cheers for their favorite teams.
