Amphibia Antimagnetic 21J NOS, 1988

This beauty is one of my best recent finds. It's a Vostok Amphibia with the early automatic movement (21 jewels instead of 31), black bezel and special case. I already own two of these leather cases, but never found one with the "frogman" engraved!






The watch looks very beautiful, and in perfect conditions (only the lume is very weak). The strap would look apparently not original (this case was designed for bracelet), but it has engraved "BOCTOK CCCP" on the back. So it is an original strap for the export.





The watch looks surprisingly modern on the wrist. The export strap was designed very well!

I'm very jealous. I have spent months looking for an amphibian with this bezel and I haven't found anything in good condition. I have searched in eBay (USA, Germany and UK) and my quest has been in vain. I have even thought about getting a Neptun to use its bezel, but I am not sure about bezel compatibility between amphibia and Neptun.

Am I missing any obvius place to search for Amphibias?

So the first automatic movement for amphibian vas dated 1988 ? I thought it was older ! When did the 31 jewels automatic born ?
