    Amphibia Antimagnetic "brown dial"

Here is an Antimagnetic dial design that I am not very familiar with: it is brown with textured cigar-shaped strip down the middle, but has a bit of craquelure on the flat areas. The numbers and the chevron 12 o'clock hour marker are polished metal, the latter has additional lume dot, and below it is a pink printed chevron, and is matched with a 2409 movement.

Even knowing Vostok's propensity to do a lot of mix-and-match, I cannot recall, off-hand, seeing a watch sporting this dial. Should it be in an octagonal case or other design(s)?

I don't have pics now (i'm at work), anyway that dial is usually dark-green (the texture on the center actually produces two tones of dark-green).
The V-shaped logo should be red. I have always seen that dial in manual-winding, round-case Amphibians, but octagonal cases were probably included too.

I don't know other colors of the same dial. Unless this is another color, the watch was probably exposed to extreme light/weather conditions, and it turned grey/brown. Not a rare case on metallic-green (or blue) Vostoks, but this one turned very dark indeed.

    Michele,

Thanks for the information! What you said certainly made sense: somehow the green faded as indicated by the pink chevron, but it's just a bit odd that it turned brown instead. There again it could be an example of the only brown one they made at the factory

    Katolik,

Thanks for letting us see your example. The bezel looks like a later Komandirskie but could have been an easy modification, but I guess it is more probable that the rest of the watch is original: the case is an Amphibia stainless steel one, I presume?

Case in this Amphibian steel, but the bezel is probably from the later Komandirskie/

What do you want from me....yours is the only blue one that i have seen till now, all the others were green. Is the green ball a sort of joke?

BTW, i never said that green was the only color available. And i did not exclude the possibility of other colors.

Looks blue indeed maybe it is my old monitor....
Anyway. cool watch, i have the same one (less blue though ) and i like it a lot. It would be fantastic if it was available in blue too.
There are one Neptune and one Komandirskie with crown at 2 'o clock with the same horizontal texture (extended to the whole dial) on metallic blue. Both are very nice.
