    Re: Delusion "russia and more"

Ok guys, i need a suggestion.

I have contacted the seller (late reply as usual ). He says that he can send the box if i want, but if want the watch with the correct hands, i must send the current watch back (spending other money for insured shipping ).

What to do? To accept those chrome hands (are they so bad?) keeping the watch, or to send it back?

chrome hands are not that bad, michele..but if that are not what you want, you may consider to send it back..of course you have to pay extra for shipping, but try one more time to get some "compensation" e.g refund for that shipping cost..
additional suggestion: better write/email him in german..

    good luck!
    cheers to all

WHAT?! To correct hands?? NO WAY! The whole watch is a mess, all hands are wrong, even the colour isn't right. It's white instead of being green.
You write him you're sending this...back, and he will send you a NEW watch with the right hands and box, without charge. You already paid for it, so there is no excuse. If the watch he depicted from the first place, was the original, he owes to send you only this. You always pay what you see, anything else is totally unacceptable.

Thank you, Tzag. Actually it's my same thought.
I'm trying to appreciate the watch...but it's not the same watch that i wanted .

The hands are green (they looks white in the pic), but the chrome hands are very annoying. Not in the style of the watch.
I have asked at least a free strap as refund for the return expenses. I hope that he will agree.

One other bit of advice: open a grievance with ebay and paypal right away. This will give you some leverage when trying to complete the deal.

And, as someone mentioned, charging the buyer paypal fees is a violation of ebay policy, so I'd suggest mentioning to him that you're considering reporting him to ebay:

    Michele

I know many people purchase on EBay with no problems. But your experience with this seller is why I have not tried it. If this is a new watch I would try to return it and look for it through an authorized dealer. Saving some money on EBay may not always be worth the aggravation of not getting what you want.

Unhappy Re: Delusion "russia and more"

We like it or not, that's the truth. However, for me the problem is what exactly is being depicted by saler. I don't mind if it's been used or new. Since I'm willing to pay for this, I want to take this and only THIS.

For what it's worth, I received a watch from a-german-in-russia yesterday that I had won for a very reasonable price. Received it in good order, exactly after the two weeks he said it would take, so I'm quite satisfied. Guess you just have to get lucky.
