I'm terribly disappointed in eBay seller Juri Levenberg

I will not be receiving my black Strela Tachymetre. The eBay seller Juri Levenberg userid sonnenflasche shipped the item to a butchered incorrect address even though the exact address was listed on the PayPal payment and my ebay invoice checkout screen.

Then he told me the item was returned to him to fix the incorrect address. I confirmed that my address given was exactly correct, and that the error was his for not including the United States state name and also getting several items out of the proper order (the exact address was given in the PayPal payment with the correct format).

He told me that if I still want the watch I have to pay another 15 dollars to have it re-shipped! Well, as the American delegation to Europe said 200 years ago, millions for defense, but not a penny for tribute! I have reported him to eBay for seller non-performance.

I have to sadly agree, that the people on this board who said to avoid doing business with him probably had similar experiences. He is rude and incompetent!

I am sorry to hear about your hard learned lesson. I'd suggest that this message be forwarded for inclusion in the Inquiries forum so that some future unsuspecting buyer might be saved from a situation similar to yours.

This is how it always is with all poor merchants. When things go smoothly, there is no problem. Probably 9/10 go perfectly fine (well, maybe for Juri, 7 out of 10). But on the sale where a problem arises, that is where you find out the good sellers from the bad.

Well, I get the last laugh because at least I get my money back from PayPal, and Juri gets to eat the loss on the eBay commission and shipping fee. Quite honestly his reaction didn't make sense - he lost just as much or more in wasted fees than it would have cost to correct his shipping mistake.

The real lesson is, Juri doesn't take responsibility for his mistakes, and if there is any problem with an order, he will not do what it takes to make things right.

he's just sloppy and a bit ignorant.
some of members here have no problems with him..i had almost similar problem with you, when he didnt write my address correctly.
The parcel was sent back to Germany and he emailed me (incl. photo of the returned parcel), thta's when I found out he wrote my address wrongly.
I replied to his email, and he resent the parcel with no additional cost.

another example of his sloppines, he sent watches Mark Gordon bought without charged him a single cents, and he only found out months later!..(Mark, I like this story )
    cheers to all

First of, I had a good buying experience with him. The thing is, I suspect that he is one man enterprise, although he might have help from his family sometimes. I think that he should hire additional employees.
I also think that his so-called "ignorance" originates from his lack of knowledge of the English language.
So I don't really think that he's a bad guy, he just can't cope with the amount of customers he has anymore. His service is suffering from it as a result.

yes, I agree he's a not a bad guy..he even filled up my "guestbook" page on my website
to me, his "sloppiness" is he couldnt even write the address correctly..or at least he should check and re-check.
"ignorant" : I think he got so many complaints and he's still do the same mistakes.. (and of course..his english problem)

however, his book was the one that opened my eyes to the world of russian watches..so in a way, I owe him something
    cheers to all
