    Info wanted vintage watch

I was trawling the bay and came across this listing. I originally clicked the picture because it is in the style that I like, then as I was looking at the pictures I realized that the case was exactly like the one on my wrist, my OKEAH!

This is the link to the listing.

Superb mens 70s Jules Jurgensen SS 17j Valjoux 7733 Swiss chronograph | eBay

Can anyone tell me why this watch is Swiss made when it clearly has a Poljot case?

This is my Okeah I do not have any pics of the case back but they are very similar.

    Hmmm?

These midprices swiss chronos were originally produced directly by Valjoux and then sold under different brands (Chronoswiss and Dugena are the first names that come to my mind) and all have the 7733 or the 7734.
Then Valjoux sold the movement to Poljot they also must have sent the tooling for the cases.
That's the reason why Okeahs and Sturmanskies don't look much like military watches and much like colourful sport chronos with a definite 70s style.

I love the ticking of the 3133s in the morning. It sounds like...victory

I am not a fan of the OKEAH dial, nothing personal at all...it's just never appealed to me. But that Jurgensen is a beautiful watch. I wouldn't buy it, but it's very nice. Interesting the 'circle of life' that has taken place from Switzerland to Russia.....and now, no more 3133's even. What a shame...
I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said "....I drank what?"

I look inside myself and see my heart is black, I see my red door and it has been painted black. Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts, It's not easy facing up when your whole world is black.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Close the door, put out the light. You know they won't be home tonight. The snow falls hard and don't you know? The winds of Thor are blowing cold.
They're wearing steel that's bright and true They carry news that must get through. They choose the path where no-one goes. They hold no quarter.
