Question Let's calm my fears over this 3133

So I have had this 3133 for a while now. While I love the watch, I did not know much about 3133s at the time I bought it. I have done some more research, with the "guide-determining-age-originality-poljot-3133-chronograph" thread being where I got most of my information. The chrono dials seem to not have the "trench" around each of them, and seem smooth sided. I have fears that it may be a franken (not based on that single fact), but for the price I paid I wouldn't (and haven't) lose any sleep over it. If he proves to be the real McCoy then I made out like a bandit.

    So the watch in question:

[Things that look good and place it accordingly]
~ has the all grey dial (which based on that thread places it from '86-'88)

~ has a one piece chrono reset lever (places it from '86-'87)

~ has the taller gothic style date wheel font (which points to '88)

[Things that dont look good and place it in possible franken territory]
~ has the Poljot crown next to the balance wheel (which looks like early '90s?)
~ has the silver alloy balance wheel (which seems to have occurred in '93?)

~ has no P or SU mark on the bridge stamp
~ has the smaller serial font on the bridge stamp (which points to '97)

Here is a whole movement shot:

Help this dude make sure his buddy isn't a sheep in wolfs clothing ;)

    Many thanks guys!

    Regards
    Marty

I have the exact-same watch with the same dial details.

This 3133 variant appears in Juri Levenburg's book on page 14, image #38 where is listed as:

"Chromium-plated case with black luminescent hands, grey dial similar to aviator's chronograph "Sturmanskie", red sweep seconds hand, the back case bearing the inscription "Sturmanskie" in cyrillic leters, since 1990"

This suggests they were mostly post-Soviet, but your watch looks legit to me.

    Very nice piece.

Thank you both! I thought It was legit, but there was always the little voice in the back of my mind wondering if it was or not. Glad to hear it passes the more knowledgeable and watchful eyes of you guys. Thank you again.

The only non-original part is the crown, which looks to be the classic Buran style. The watch was produced ca. 1996.

Thank you for pointing that out! While it may not be correct, I actually like It quite a bit. It's large size makes It easy to wind up, and imho it compliments the watch.

Marty, liking it is what matters the most IMHO... It looks great!
I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said "....I drank what?"

I look inside myself and see my heart is black, I see my red door and it has been painted black. Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts, It's not easy facing up when your whole world is black.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

Close the door, put out the light. You know they won't be home tonight. The snow falls hard and don't you know? The winds of Thor are blowing cold.
They're wearing steel that's bright and true They carry news that must get through. They choose the path where no-one goes. They hold no quarter.

Thanks all! I am glad to know for sure that he is all good to go. on a side note, I am very happy how the bridge stamp picture came out, especially for the camera on my phone!
I'll make a soldier's decision to fly away. Load my gun, paint my face, call me misery. I can see the sky light up and the ground explode
Got my sights locked in, I can see you breathe. Then I watched you fall and somebody scream. It's the saddest thing when angels fly away.
Got a badge for my scars just the other day. Wore it proud for the sake of my sanity. I could see the flames burn bright from the winding road
