    Moscow Classic Sturmovik 3133

Hello there! My new watch has arrived!!! it's a Moscow Classic Shturmovik with a poljot 3133 movement.Purchased from m-watches using their discount! It has a brushed stainless steel case, the dial has a diameter of 41mm with case 44mm, lugs are quite long, robust watch but not heavy at all, very easy wearing! It gives an aviator-like feeling!!!I wonder how it would look like on one of those leather watch straps with leather pads underneath the watch case.here are some pictures. i have prepared a thread at the gallery with lots more...i've also taken a couple of pics of the watch with the vostok reef amphibia that i purchased a couple of months back...enjoy! cheers!

Congrats on your new Moscow Classic! I've been wearing my larger 47mm Shturmovik 3133-03461114 for over a year and still love it. The Moscow Classics are very lightweight on the wrist and the build quality is pretty good too.

Looks great!Moscow Classic makes some very nice watches.Unfortunately they all seem rather big for my small wrist.I dont't think i can wear anything bigger than 42 mm.All MC watches seem to be over 43-44mm.If they make a "junior" Sturmovic at 41-42 mm i'll buy one in a sec

Yeah that's one of the main things with Moscow Classic, larger dials. Personally I prefer a 43mm but the 47mm is really nice (not heavy) but large on the wrist. They do some 43-44mm round dials but a lot of them are 46-47mm with some being 50mm including the crown.
    Thanks
    Dave

    Re: Moscow Classic Sturmovik 3133

    thanks very much guys!

jose: i remember your thread, great watch and great selection of straps!

mecano: i don't have a big wrist myself,it's actuallly 16,5-17cm. At the beginning i had some doubts on buying a big watch, i feared that the lugs would exceed my wrist and it would look terrible..so my first russian chronograph was 40mm which was the ideal match for my wrist, no lugs exceeding and no huge watchcase! when i ordered that vostok reef i said well why don't i go with 42mm it couldn't look so bad...and it didn't! actually it looked great!
after searching the moscow classic watches i decided to order this one, i like it a lot it has a great dial, great caseback(very important to me) I find it awesome, i understand that it is way bigger than a 40mm and you sure can tell the difference from a 42mm but when i tried it on i was quite pleased with three things,
first it follows my "lug rule"...second the diameters bind harmonically meaning that 'cause of the watch case shape the dial is 41mm(no bezel or too long lugs...the SS-20 is an example) so i believe that although it is a big watch it looks nice and third it doesn't weight much, very comfy to wear

aviator3133:your watch is very nice! there are many great moscow classic watches with diameters above 45mm but i think that i have reached a limit here...

Timanthes according to M-watches site the "SHTURMOVIK" case is 43mm not 44.It doesn't look too big next to the Reef. The thing is it's not only i have a small wrist i also don't like this fad with the huge modern wristwatches. But i'm ok if the watch has a vintage style even if its big and these MC fall in this category.I especially like the red-lettered sturmovik Jose has and m-watches says its 43mm (i thought it was 44).I think i'll pull the trigger and get one

The more I see of MC the more it would seem to be the Strela manufacturer's, even down to the Hungarian strap.

the decorated dials are another example! The moscow classic vodolaz is a great watch, i like very much the one with the black dial and orange hands, letters

mecano, according to the manufacturer mine has a 44mm diameter case and jose's 43mm. check the official website : moscowclassic.com i found some 3133 that have 40mm diameter cases that might interest you!!!

heeey way to go Mecano!!! well it´s a very well finish watch, the movement is solid Molnija 3602 the power reserve is around 35 a little bit more hours so you´ll have to wind it on a daily basis but no complaints so far, I like it a lot...
