    A polish Wars

    in terrible condition and I dont know if this is even the right movement, because the dial is marked with 17 Jewels Maybe some of our polish members can help me here please.

    Phill, ok with the 17j on dial but how many j are engraved on the mechanism? From what I can see this is 17j kirovskie mechanism often found also on upgraded kirovskies like the stolishnie ones. I believe it is ok but I have no idea of polish watches. Let our Polish Forum community speak

    Maybe, that the movement was exchanged. There were 2409 in him, there are 2408 in him though now. Is the balance shockprotected?

    I think this Wars is OK (but expert of polish watches is Krzysiek_W). I don’t see haw many jewels Your wars has engraved on mechanism but should has 17 jewels. The same as on the dial. This watches were putting together In Polish factory from soviet mechanism and other parts made in polish factory. One unoriginal part in your watch is a crown, but very similar to original.
