Poljot aviator at online / bay seller

So I saw sgtiger's poljot aviator Chrono yesterday and really liked it.

In looking around a bit I ran across this Chronograph Aviator in the Russian watches online shop

Seems to be the storefront for the ruscamera guy from the bay.

Says its a 3133 movement, so are these real or suspect?

I gotta quit reading this forum it's costing me a fortune :)

Ruscamera is, as far as I know, legitimate. I'll wait and see when my Maktime shows up that I ordered from him a few days ago! FWIW, I don't see that aviator listed on his Ebay store, I don't know if he really has it in stock. Otherwise, the pictures look right.

This could be a good alternative to that one you found, and also much cheaper: WATCH MAKTIME Russian Chronograph AVIATOR 3133 POLJOT BOX! | eBay

This thread may help to determine the differences with pics: Poljot Aviator Chrono I variences

This thread had good buying advice and some pictures of a fake: Buying advise? POLJOT/AVIATOR Help...

This thread on PMWF has some good info about versions of those watches when I asked a year ago (quotes below): Poljot Aviator I - Legitimate?

The subtle differences you see is now directly attributable to the fact that Poljot doesn't exist anymore in the sense it used to it is now manufactured by the company that always made the movements for Poljot, a company called Maktime, another famous obscure company that also makes the Russian Presidential gift watch like the one I own and you all are sick of me posting by now (lol ) many people have feared they had bought a fake as some of the dials are a shade different that other older models also some slight differences in the pushers between Poljot of years ago and Maktime......let me assure you that you got the real deal!!!

    and
This is interesting info. When you say that Maktime has the manufacturing rights to the line, are you referring only to the new Maktime-branded version that I have, or to sgtiger's Poljot-branded version as well? If the latter is the case, do you know if Maktime is also the source of new late-model Poljots that are still being produced somewhere (e.g. Strela Reissues, Poljot Albatros, Poljot Journey, Kirova Chronograph, Non-Volmax Sturmanskies, etc.) and sold on eBay by sellers like Ruscamera and on websites like poljot24.de? I had been under the impression that Maktime supplies the movements, but assembly of these Poljot-branded watches is done by other firms, either with old-stock parts or new cases and dials; but if it's all done by Maktime at the 1MWF campus, that might lend these mysterious new Poljots some additional legitimacy!

    and
I think it looks good. The hand styles changed over the lifetime of this watch, and the earlier versions had this thicker black and red second hand. I would ask the seller if it has the 1MWF "Crown" logo on the crown or the "A" for "Aviator." The later versions have the "A," as production probably shifted to Volmax for a short time before they replaced it with the Aviator II, and Maktime assumed production with their new version of the Aviator I.

Either way, it looks genuine to me. There are no guarantees, as these have continued to be made by Poljot offshoots since the end of Poljot, using leftover parts and some new ones (the new ones currently offered by Poljot24.de, for example, have the "A" on the crown and casebacks with the Volmax "Aviator" logo. This one has the traditional Poljot caseback), so it's possible that one that appears completely genuine even though it was assembled more recently. Either way, there's no faking a real Poljot 3133 movement, which this cleary has -- and everyhting else looks good. I'd go for it if he's offering it for a good price.

Someone got a real bargain with this one last weekend eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace
The watch had never been worn & what looks like a scratch on the glass turned out to be just a smudge. I really wish I'd bid now :(

OK guys, I am looking for Aviator/Poljot/Sturmanskie watch and found this lot - STURMANSKIE Watch Chronograph SHTURMANSKIE | eBay

I am in doubt since the guy sells lots of Putin watch which you cannot just buy anywhere and Sturmanskie SS-18 whilst there is a model SS-20. I contacted the guy asking to scan the watch documents but it looks like he is quite nervous and he did not do it. I decided to contact Volmax and they replied that they never produced this model. The girl said that there is a body like that but not the face plate, so I suspect that the watch is either fake and was tampered with.

    Any ideas?

the photo on your link it has a poljot logo on the crown, volmax dont use that logo, maybe the case its from original poljot (similar like the astronaut) and replaced the dial or its a newly created watch
