Regulating a very fast Amphibian

Hi all,

I'm considering an Amphibian on the 'bay, but the seller tells me it's running 13 minutes fast per hour. Is this within the realm of DIY regulation, or does it reveal a deeper issue needing a complicated fix?

Sounds like it may be magnetized, I'd try that first. That is way beyond the range of a normal (slight) adjustment can handle.
