Nice one! Did you buy it on the Ebay? I am currently looking for a Copernicus in a good condition.
I got mine on the 'bay. See my thread regarding the same watches. A black and white one. Prices vary, got mine NOS in a box with paperwork. I have seen nice used ones for $40, but have also seen them priced at $140 which is less than what I paid for mine.
Currently I negotiated the price of 60$ including delivery for the Copernicus made in 1991, with paperwork. The condition looks good.
As DolleDolf says, they range depending on a whole lot of things. Mine was an ebay purchase with paper work NOS. My recommendation is keep a good look out, get an understanding of what the market price is for the watch your buying, and try to purchase within that price range. Always remember market value and the value you put to an object can be two different things![]()
