Translation of the following Bracelet inscription would be great, its not easy to make out but this is the best I can do,
second picture is a negative form of the first.
Looks like "To colonel Shevko V. V.
from the command of OL MVO"
MVO may mean Moscow Military District, but a russian friend here might be more precise.
Ivan
Correct. Ордена Ленина Московский Военный Округ, meaning that Colonel V. V. Shovko (sic) was awarded this watch for something from the commander of Moscow Military District. Which Disctrict was awarded the Order of Lenin in 1968, one of the highest Soviet orders. МВО is now extinct, btw.
Odd that there's no date on the inscription. Usually awards like that would have an engraved date.

Thanks for clearing that up for me mike.s & Kirill Sergueev.
